10059, No. 3 ... and Comet Leonard!

I have photographed this scene before, but never from this particular angle (or at least that I recall ... lol).

BTW, if you look in the sky along the far right side, you'll see a white blob. I didn't notice it at the time, but once I returned home and started post-processing this photo, it jumped off the monitor at me.

I didn't know what it was, but when I zoomed further into the photo, it appeared to be a comet, with a bright head and a long tail. Curious, I did some research and it turns out it's possible I photographed an actual comet! To be specific, Comet Leonard.

It was discovered last January by an Arizona astronomer and is heading away from our solar system. But under the right conditions, at the right time of the night, it's potentially still visible low in the Arizona sky ... who knew?!
