As I was returning home at the end of an outing, I found myself approaching this scene from the opposite direction than I did the last time I passed by it.

As sometimes happens, the scene looked subtly different to me, the difference being that (iirc) the interior lights of the house next door were now turned on and a decorated Christmas tree was visible through the front windows.

Although I photographed this scene recently and usually avoid returning to the scene of my crimes this quickly, my mind's eye framed a different, wider composition than it did the last time, so I stopped, setup my camera, and took this photo.
