As many will recall, I posted a photo of this same scene on December 22nd, highlighting the remarkable low-light performance of a camera I borrowed from a friend.

This photo is of the same scene, taken from the almost exactly the same viewpoint, using the same camera and lens combo. The only difference it that, for the first time I can recall, the outside lights are on and as you can see, they change everything about this scene!

Whereas I used an eight-minute exposure for the December 22nd photo, I used just a 10-second exposure for this photo, which means the scene was approx. 5-1/2 stops brighter than it was the first time ... wow!
