Location: Mogollon Rim

My friend and I returned to the Rim for a second outing last Wednesday, which is when I took this photo at sunset.

Unfortunately, it's becoming very clear that I no longer have any feel for landscape photography. Twenty-plus years ago, I did have an eye for it, but these days, I struggle to frame a visually appealing composition.

Contrast that with my urban and residential photography, where compositions literally jump out at me and demand that I photograph them, such that my contribution is just technical -- i.e., getting the exposure and focus correct -- and not artistic.
