Birds of a feather...

I don't envy bird photographers, because it only takes one bird to spook as you approach the scene with a camera and in turn cause the rest of the flock to spook as well and fly off, along with your photo op. Which is exactly what happened to me as I was preparing to take this photo. Fortunately, I was able to trigger the shutter before the birds flew out of the frame and I ended up with this photo instead.

Needless to say, this never happens when I photograph architecture, because no matter how clumsy my approach may be, a building isn't going to spook and fly away ... lol.
