This photo was taken on either my first or second outing for this project, but it was only recently that I took a liking to it. Truth be told, it really doesn't fit this project's brief at all, because even though these buildings are located within a historic district, they're far from being considered historical. Yet as a standalone photo, divorced from any connection to this project, this one appeals to me regardless.

Keeping one's eyes open and alert to other possibilities can be a tricky thing to do while one is working on a project, because it's quite easy to fall into the trap of viewing everything with tunnel vision, such that anything that doesn't clearly match the template that's at the forefront of one's attention is all too easily ignored. I fight that urge, but am not always as successful as I'd like to be....
