As often is the case, I stopped in this area to photograph a scene across the street that caught my eye as I drove past. But I could not pull together a composition I found appealing. So I gave up and headed back to my car, whereupon I passed this scene, which required no effort whatsoever to compose into this photo, which I believe works quite well indeed. 8^)

Fortunately, being an amateur and not a professional photographer, I don't always have to "get the shot" and am free to walk away when my eye doesn't immediately "see" a composition worthy of photographing. I know many experts encourage photographers to always be challenging themselves by forcing them to find a way to make a shot work, but I prefer to play to my strengths and take only the photos that come easily to me. <shrugs>
