No Trespassing

Many people don't realize this, but if you can read a "No Trespassing" sign, the odds are good that you're not actually trespassing. This is because, at least here in Arizona, to have any legal effect, No Trespassing signs must be posted at the entrance(s) to the property; if you can read it, then you are in front of it and probably not yet on the property, hence are not yet trespassing. (Although security guards and police officers will sometimes try to claim it applies everywhere, so far as the law is concerned, the warning only applies to the area behind it, not in front of it or alongside of it.)
