I had to maneuver around a bit to make it look as if the clouds were actually smoke, but I couldn't resist trying to capture the effect. This photo was taken from the pedestrian crosswalk about half way across the 59th Street Bridge (renamed the Ed Koch Queenbsoro Bridge) as it passes over Roosevelt Island.
