Todd Hido homage, No. 1

If I heard Todd Hido's name once during my recent portfolio review, then I heard it a half-dozen times. (Actually, I did hear it a half-dozen times ... I know, because I kept count!) Until then, I had never heard of him, but I figured where there is smoke, there is fire, so I made it a point to familiarize myself with his photography (searched the internet and bought an autographed copy of his book House Hunting on eBay, which proved to be a first edition, too!) and sure enough, there are indeed more similarities between his work and mine than there are differences, which started me thinking...

So without any further ado, here's my feeble homage to Todd Hido (minus the fog, of course!), made while I was photographing a house down the street at 4:30 am yesterday morning. I sense a new project forming in my mind and best of all, it's much closer to home than Superior...
